trying to ID a tooth

Found this while hunting arrowheads. I forgot to add a size reference but its 1-1/8th inches long or so. Its 3 sided and seems old. Its light. It doesn't look like a dog or a bear. Anybody got any ideas?

It is the ungual phalanx of a deer, often called a hoof core.
