Hello again. My girlfriend and I came across this small bowl with, what looks like to me, a dandelion. Was then told that it may be a sun flower. I also know that the bowl is spatterware, with the peafowl. I am trying to find out who's mark this is, and any help would be greatly appreciated. The bowl is 4" in diameter and 2 1/2" tall. Thank you again. potterymark (4).webppotterymark (3).webppotterymark (2).webppotterymark (1).webp

Wasn't able to find the makers mark, but did find an article that mentions the peafowl splatterware bowl:

Pearlware: Origins and Types (Part 2)

It seems that your bowl may date back to 1840-1860. Hope you can track it further than this.

I saw a bowl with that same design at the Goodwill. Might see if I can find it again.

It's a handleless cup. I can't find the mark in any of my books yet. I have a couple more to check. Does this piece show any age to it? Any crazing? Are those dark spots on the base rim kiln furniture marks? I don't know, the mark just looks modern to me for some reason. I hope i'm wrong, it's a nice looking piece. I have never seen a peafowl piece with a two color background like that, it's usually a one color background with the peafowl being two or three colors. Interesting. I hope we can figure this one out.
