Went through the $200 bag of nickels first, low numbers, low variety but a few keepers

The 2 war nickels completes my first roll or war nickels in 2007.

Congrats on the war nickels roll!!!!!!! That's freaking sweet! Completing one is my only coin hunting goal for this year. Cool find with the Netherlands Antilles coin. Still haven't found one of those yet.

Decided to go through the $100 bag of nickels as well before bed since nickels go so fast.

No war nickels, but I did pick up a 1939-D (Key date) in XF. Appears to be about a $12 nickel. I'll take those over war nickels any day. My second 1939-D this year.

Also got

Hello,

Most of the banks I went to and try to buy rolls of coins said that they can't sell me the rolls they got from customers only the ones they got back from the mint.
I was told that all the coins ( rolls are send back to the mint for re-counting dee.....dee....deee )--

Every bank is different. Some will sell you stuff that was turned in by customers and some won't.

1st bag..not great quantity, but at least the ones that were there were harder to find ones.

Note: the 1947 was my first of that date/mintmark this year....finally. :P

2nd bag...worst $50 bag I've done this year

Also noticed I had only posted 2 of the 7 penny bags prior to this post.

I lost the details of 2 of them when my hard drive crashed in late June, but the last bag had the following:

So that wraps up the totals from this pickup...only 2 months after I picked it up...lol
