Yesterday went for a hunt with my buddy Steve to an old house that we got permission to detect. First I found 2 silver rosies, then a V Nickel, & capped it off with a 1798 Draped Bust. She rang in like a quarter 12-45 and was 5" deep.
Nice finds. Any day you come home with some silver in addition to a LC is a good day in the field as far as I'm concerned. I love finding old LC's and I'm determined to find some US silver from that period.
Hi South Jersey Don , great hunt , a 1798 large cent , a few of us members are looking at your 2005 join up date , no one can remember you posting too much , nothing wrong with that , not saying that is good or bad , just very unusual . Were you just lurking around for 8 years .
I cannot remember you in the past 3 years also 2005 is even before a well known top finder with a same name.
