Tuesday's Bank Hopping

Hi all!
Went to a town north of where I live where I haven't checked before. Hit all of the inner city banks and am going to go back and check the ones on the outer areas later. Not many halves to be found anywhere. Did find silver at one bank. The teller (not one of the younger ones) said she had 7 dollars worth. She kept looking at them saying "these look like silver but they are definitely not". 4 dollars of the halves were 40%! It fills good now and then to find people that think it is silver only if it is before 1965. Only found about $20 total in halves, so it was a very good ratio.

Happy Hunting!

Yeah, let's keep that 40% secret to ourselves.

Nicely done.

Re: Tuesday's Bank Hopping

My Bro was at a bank today and the "kid" teller asked him "what year are silver halves". Bro told him 64 and earlier. I told my Bro I would have told him 1936 and earlier...............LOL

Re: Tuesday's Bank Hopping

Funny how many tellers, fortunately, don't know about coins! ;D Even the older ones who lived in a time when silver coins were common....SSSHHHHHHHH....Keep it quiet... ;)
