Over a year ago my older daughter started asking a lot of questions about my military service, even asked for a copy of my DD-214.

Then a while later she invited me to meet her at an art gallery in Mt. Airy, NC. And there she shows me this:

She had 3 made for herself and my other two children.

They apparently couldn't find any Spec 6 patches so they had to improvise.

I visited her this past weekend. And she told me the guy she had do this still has mine displayed in the gallery - basically as advertisement. So, I'm hanging out in an art gallery.

THAT, is Way cool! :icon_thumleft:

She didn't make one for me :(

I have to visit to see!

Thanks for your service! I know that freedom is not free.

That is a really nice display. Now I know what your avatar is too.

Best to you sir.

Very nice display! Gives me an idea for all my stuff collecting dust in the garage.

That was very nice of your daughter to do that.

ASA all the way !

It's awesome.

I am no longer hanging in the art gallery.

My older daughter came up today and brought me the display. The gallery guy protested for sure - it was his advertising.

Of course, Mom took immediate possession of it, so it's in her office. It's kinda heavy for my walls anyway, and it makes Mom happy.

Good one.webp

That is very nice of your daughter to do that. Thank you for our freedom! Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas.
