What are these? Are they tweezers? Can the damage at the 'head' be removed while keeping its' antique look? Where might they be from?

Got me thinking on the wire poking out the end. That looks like the stem cleaner you see on pipe tampers.

I think the hooka tool idea is heading down the right path looking at it more.

It's definitely a "Syrian bird hookah tongs". I've already contacted some hookah knowledgeable people about it. I'm hoping to learn how long the style has been around, and ultimately valuate it.
