two boxes of halves and a box of nickels! first war nickel ender!

Well, picked up some coin yesterday, ended up with only 1 clad keeper out of the halves, a 2004, to go along with my 2008. Then I opened up my nickels, and saw this! I was stoked!






And, got this old 79 quarter from the phillipines! My first "Pilipinas"!





All in all, felt kinda down after the two boxes of halves, but the nickels never disappoint. I think my favorite thing to go through is nickels.

Yeah, I haven't found anything like that, only searched 2 boxes, but have 3 war nickels now. Last one gave me a nickel from the bahamas!

Well said! Nickles may not be as glamorous as halves or even dimes, but I'm just as happy with a warnic as I am with a buffalo or a proof, and sooner or later (I hope and pray) a v-nic, too! And congrats to you, '68, on the "wender" (that's a war-nickel ender, to "coin" a new phrase)!
