Two buffs,and a silver nickel puts me at #60 for the season...

Had the day of today couldn't ask for a better day warm, no wind the first buff came from my fav, park then met up with my buddy Ed(upstate) at another park were i got the second buff, and the last nickel find was a 1942-p silver nickel a little icing on the cake that puts me at 60 old nickels for the season Ed with just 4 more nickels to go will hit 80 old nickels between the both of us thats a lot of nickels from a hunted to death park...

Finding 2 Buffaloes in one day is quite the feat. When I found my first last year, I almost didn't post the find because after all, it was only a lowly nickel and from the 1900's to boot. Once people started replying to the post though, I saw many that had been hunting for years still had not found one. Just goes to show all our finds have value to we detectorist's anyway. Nice hunts!

Very nice finds. I am one of those people that has not found a buffalo... yet. I am diligently digging the mid tones, in hopes that one of those pull tags is a nickel. One day soon...

You have 60 old nickels?? That is a crazy number. At first I thought you meant 60 for all years, but then I reread it and saw "old". Congrats! I have 6 for my first year. (7 if you count the ring somebody made out of a Buff.)
