Ever since finding that 39 merc last visit to the old house, I've been dieing to go back. I only had 2 hours today to go out and it worked out well! The first reading in the back yard was a nice 90 and about 9" or 10" down. I saw the silver edge of a quarter come out in a clump of dirt, so I just got most of the dirt off, but still could not see anything. I just put it in my back pocket and waited to clean it. Right after that, a watch popped out. After getting home, I found out that the quarter was a 1927 standing liberty and the watch was 14K gold filled. The old truck has metal wheels. Hope you enjoy the pic's! P.S. the small button is a Pearl button I think.
