two little Indians

Haven't found any silver in a while, so I thought I'd post these two little Indians I found the other day. Found them in a little corner park area. They were both 4 inches deep under a tall pine tree. They've been soaking in olive oil and a little Vaseline Intensive Care lotion for a few days. Managed to get most of the dirt and corrosion off of them, but, as you can see, there was some pitting underneath the gunk.

Congrats on th IH's,,, one of my favorite coins....
Although, like GoldenRoyBoy, I haven't found one in quite a while either...
Does soaking them in olive oil, and the Vaseline Intensive Care lotion take the patina off of them? I once cleaned one of mine with soap & water and it took off the patina, which I did not like, so I only rinse them off these days and leave them as they were...

Have you ever tried heating up some peroxide in the microwave and dropping your coins in that and cleaning them,have never tried the oil tecknique wonder if the results are the same rh
