I hit a very small water area that some people go in the water but very few. There was so much trash my arms were hurling from digging.

I did manage to get some clad, fake bracelet a small cheap silver ring, and a 22K gold ring, so it was still worth it.

I wanted to get out into the water but couldn't because there was so much mud in that area. When I started to walk out I sunk in and it was almost like quicksand so I had to stay on the wet mud at low tide.

Sounds like some of the middle/northern Delaware beaches. Mud sucks!!

Congrats on the ring. Some day I hope to find gold.

Good job Bill. Maybe this is an omen for the year to come. Lots of high quality gold would be great.
