two near mint mercs from two different houses, you dont often find em like this. They are not rare, just awesome. Plus ANOTHER no date SLQ and a NICE WWII era ST. Christoper ARMY pendant. Good weekend, Good stuff and some keepers.

I forgot to mention that there is writting on the back of the medal. If anyone (by some strange twist of fate) knows who this belongs to they only have to tell me what is written on the back and they can have it. (p.s. your odds are about 456976 to 1 against guessing right ;D).

Those are some great looking mercs...Isn't it odd how nice they come out of the ground..usually not grubby at all..

Re: two perfect mercs

Those are just awesome! Those SLQ's are frequently found without dates..Buffalo nickels seem to have the same problem, but I'd take it ;) I'm still looking for my first one. That pendant is a great find in itself, way to go!

Very nice mercs and I think the St. Christopher medal is great! I would like to find a SLQ again soon. WTG

Really cool finds,I love that medal, looks to be in great shape.Thos slq's hardly ever have a date,I can only remember seeing one posted on here with a date. I dug one a couple of weeks ago that looks to be in really nice shape but no date, the date seems to wear off of them really easily,HH...Shoot

Great finds.

Natman, I'm with you. I'll take my first SLQ in any condition I can find it.
