First one may be an livestock tag that is unmarked without a number or lettering. I have dug many unmarked livestock tags before around old farm sites very similar or exact too yours!! Or it could be part of a key chain.

The 2nd one looks interesting and haven't a clue but can't wait too find out what it is!

Never seen a lead livestock tag.

The RA could be a Sweetheart brooch/pin. (military badge made into a pin) It's different than what I'm used to seeing so wouldn't bet my life on it, but because it's a pin and enameled, that's what comes to mind.

If its lead it might be some sort of weight.

What does the back of the RA look like?

The lead bit is a home cast sinker. Made by pouring lead into a spoon and then drilling a hole for a line. My grandfather used to make them and we used them for tightline fishing for channelcat in the Mackinaw river up in Illinios years ago.

Good call Cres. I thought that was brass looking @ the first photo there! Yep not a livestock tag!

eBay is good. But we must always be careful about solving items through eBay. Just my two cents. Not judging op's post. Learned that through this site.

You are correct, the link I provided was just to show the similarity between the two items. Here is a little more information on the RA's from their website:

E-Bay is good and you are right! Mainly with prices... Someone see's something sold for $200 when it is really only $70. Now lot of people will see that and figure "Hey these are $200" then they take them in somewhere too try and sell them or re-post it for over $200 and wonder why they can't get that for that amount... Always double check other sites or books before assuming on price! IMO

Hello NOLA_Ken. Thanks for the reply. Nice call on the weight, I kept thinking that it looked like a spoon. HH C9

That's why it's helpful to Read the post when you're trying to ID something for someone.
