I picked up an ACE 250 last night. I figured the best place to give it a real test would be my "hunted out" park. I have found numerous Barbers and a few Mercs here before. Ironically, it is known as Silver Lake. I wanted to see if the ACE would go deeper than my CXIII, and it did. The dime was at 6 inches. I don't think I have found any dimes at that depth with the old detector. All of my silver from this park is ugly, but this is the saddest looking silver I have seen in a long time. I think it is even too ugly to post a picture of.
I am sold on the Ace 250's capabilities although I was having a tough time pinpointing with it. Is anyone interested in buying a Garrett Grand Master CXIII?
