So I went down to one of the dumps around here and hit my pit again. This is the same hole I found the lactopeptine bottle I posted recently. It's so deep and there's nowhere to throw anything except wayyyy over your head. I dug from around 8am-1:30pm just to reach the bottom. FINALLY I hit native ground and had to take a break for my back. Drank the two beers I brought and then got to work. Believe it or not I found a broken st. Drakes plantation bitters right away! Busted to smithereens. Other than a couple finds on the way down my first true find of the day is what I consider my best bottle. Am I dreaming? Such an awesome bottle, remember seeing that one in the book, I'm gonna go check. I know it's an awesome one though!!!

Well I can't find it, don't remember what book it was in, but it's a great one, congrats!

I was at the ballston spa bottle show earlier this month and the price on this bottle was around 400 dollars

CURES ALL DISEASES. If it was only as easy as drinking this stuff. I think of the poor man/woman who trusted this might have worked. Who knows, maybe for them it did?

Man, you are the life of the party! You always bring us the most outstanding beauties! Ugh, sooo jealous, can not wait to dig again...

Congratulations, amazing finds!

Well thanks! I almost title this post: fasten your bibs..get ready to drool.

Incredible finds and exciting. Some unique examples there...

Well done, great finds!

Many of those "cure all" and "New Discovery" potients contained opium, alcohol and other ingredients that made them feel better, so it's no wonder that people flocked to the phamacists for their fix.

Great bottles Goldenplug. You have a nice dump there, even if it makes you work to get the good stuff.

Wow! Can't believe all the totally awesome bottles you're finding. That is NOT a dump, my friend...it's a treasure trove!!

Keep up the great work!

that's one hell of a dump my friend.

Interesting! I had no clue people in upstate New York drank sake back then. I wonder how old it is.

You found some BEAUTIES...CONGRATULATIONS!!!

All in all, that's a mighty fine day. The microbe is "killer". One of the better bottles we've seen this year. Looks like you are cherry picking. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1466207724.876293.webp
