Unboxing the Royal Manufacturing 30" Compact Gold Sluice

Hi guys-
I'm just starting to get into prospecting. I ordered a sluice last week and it came today! I figured I would shoot a quick video of unboxing it and getting my overall reaction from it.

Anyone else have this sluice and have any thoughts on it?

Thank you! Not much natural color around here, however there are some spots. I'll probably be trying to run as much Raw Dirt as I can get from California and Alaska.

If you can see daylight between the bottom of the riffles and the raised expanded metal , you WILL LOSE fine gold.

Thank you for the tip russau! Everything seems to be on the up and up. I sluiced some raw paydirt from a fault line in California today. Lots of sandy gravel and black sands. Seems to have caught the fine gold. I will know more tomorrow as I clean out my tailings bucket.
