Under The Bleachers

caught the principal leaving the high school across the street from my house today and he unlocked the gate to the stadium and said to lock it back when i left....stayed under the bleqchers for about 2 hours and found 103 coins for a total of $11.48 also found a live .38 special shell....kinda creepy .....all the jewelry is junk

Nice. I have been metal detecting for a few weeks and I think I ahve found a total of 50. It all adds up in the ends and worse case scenario.....

Ok so someone is going to yell at me for asking this but how do you hunt under the bleachers? Are they metal or wood? I have tried under the metal bleachers before but guess what? They are metal and all I get is a solid tone.

they are metal and i had trouble with it too.....just had to hunt the center of the sections

I know what you mean...some bleachers have so much interference it is impossible. Some you can crawl under or get between stairs from front and detect. Last week I was under some bleachers and had some nice success also. Yesterday in a new park which has started out very nicely the bleachers had concrete under them! So anything dropped could be seen and picked up! But the rest of the park is going to be a breeze!
