Union Civil War Camp Finds - Eagle Button and Cleaning Jag

Vol1266X and I searched a Union Infantry camp. I found some pretty good items, including a Union Eagle button and a cleaning jag. We also found several bullets including 69s, 58s, and round balls. The button is the 10th Eagle button I have found this year. Thanks for looking.

You must have a good guide!!!!! Excellent finds for the area that we hunt with few camps and small troop movements. I still remember the big smile on your face when you dug 6 of the 10 Eagle buttons that you have recovered lately in a 3 hour hunt. Some were mint. You were the man that day. Congrats!!!

Hey Dman, I'm sure the TNet members would enjoy hearing about us climbing up that steep hill relic hunting near a US CW Camp in February where you had to hold onto a tree with one hand and your metal detector in the other. I'm sure you remember that trip because when we got to the top you HAD LEFT OUR LUNCH IN THE TRUCK half a mile below us!!!!!

Great finds thats a ton of eagle buttons. Sounds like you have the same kinda camps we have around here.
