I am not sure about this one, not even a guess. It is from central florida, in the lake whales ridge area, it is slightly curved, cylindrical, and appears to have a hole through the middle. it is layered as you can see in the fractured areas. Any ideas? sorry about the fingernails.

The layering reminds me of the way some sea shells deteriorate..Mabey not.
It does remind me of this cross section of a compressed algae type of Flint I photographed in north Florida.
it is strange, I have found the tube worms before but this is a real mystery to me. I may have to take it to the university. thanks for your help guys.
