Heres your crossed sabres and bomb button, a style made by Waterbury today.. Its listed under fashion so I would say its a civilian blazer button. Green check?

Found Unknown “Crossed Sabers and Bomb” military pin

I have a mint condition pin similar to the “Crossed saber and bomb” button the original poster of this thread that he dug-found. SEE ATTACHED photo of my “Crossed Saber and Bomb” Pin

This pin has been passed down in my family and was among my grandfather’s military service mementos from his service in WW1... he was in the 27th Inf Regt with American Expedionary Force in Siberia 1919-1920).

The dime-sized unidentified crossed saber/bomb pin that I have has identical face side as that of original poster, but it is pin is deep-stamped as if to accommodate a button insert (like for a blazer button), but has a circular pin inserted instead for attachment to collar, lapel, or hat.

I’ve been unable to find anything like this used by US Army,
But I know there were Brits serving near him while his regiment was in Siberia and that there were also Czech soldiers in area supporting White Russian troops, so pin could be foreign military.

Alternately, it could be a US military pin from befor my grandfathers era of service. My grandfathers grandfather served in a Mississippi state Cavalry unit during CW and my grandfathers older brother served in US Cavalry under General Pershing during the US Armies unsuccessful attempt to capture Mexican General Pancho Vila (Maybe the pin is Mexican military from that era).

Does anyone here have knowledge that will solve mystery of what country these “crossed sabers w/ bomb” military pins were made by and from what time period?

Thanks, LR
