Unknown eagle buttons

These were more of a grandma's attic find. They came from a big box of buttons ranging from Civil War to the 1940's. Have no idea where these fall in. Appreciate any trained eyes!

Could you post back marks and pictures of the backs?

We need pics of the first two Great Seal button backmarks to date them as they were used from 1909 to the present. The next one is US Navy but I dont know the date. The last one is a civilian button with a Navy motiff, probably a rusted back. I found one in my backyard.

I believe all are WW II era... Two US Army and two navy buttons. All buttons look like "low convex" style (more flat) indicative of WW II era styles. The two "self-shank" (no back mark) buttons may be a little newer, but of the same era.

Terrific info, thanks all. I have many more where these came from -- all unidentified (many with anchors and flowers). Will post soon. Big: #4 is indeed magnetic. And, by all means, feel free to borrow the backmark. My button would be flattered! ;D
