Not sure what it is, but it's pretty neat looking.

It is an obstacle for small tanks. You know like the kind you see in war movies? ;D :D

Just kidding, I don't know but it looks pretty cool, what is it made of?

Actually it looks like a caltrop sometimes called a crows foot which was used back in the day to stop horses, but it looks to modern to be that old.......wish I could help more

maybe part of a girls jacks game?
Ya beat me too it but I didn't know they were for girls,,, YUCK, I used to play Jacks... ;D

When I first saw it, it reminded me of a "Jack" from an old Jacks Game. They made several different types through the years. Here's a link to a page showing what I'm talking about, but there not the same style as what you have there...

Just a guess...
Good luck with the ID, & Happy hunting~

Isn't Jacks played by bouncing a ball and scooping the jacks up in your hand? If so then this "Jack" would seem to be a little on big side wouldn't it?

100% certain it is a caltrop. I just saw a PBK post in another thread that identified it as a caltrop as well. Probably not Civil War era, but certainly cool.

i agree with the caltrop theory.....also all of the jas i have seen have a tiny ball 2 of the points opposite each other

That actually looks like a brain teaser game piece I used to have. The star sat in a ring and you had to figure out how to get it out without losing your mind.
