The last time we were here was 31 Oct 22, looking back we now have a matching pair of an unusual type of 17th C button.
We started the morning on a small strip of grass next to the Roman Site, because it hadn't been cut in years & we wanted to do it for the first time before it grow back up. On my 2nd run I got a big hammered & then it went dead, so we decided to finish the edge of the site that we never had time for. The Roman silver came way off from the main scatter, proving why we do this type of big gridding that expands the edges of the scatter.
(all 3 silvers fell to me today, Cru'dad has some chasing to do ....)

WG 1792 Lead Token (rare to get a date, not rare to see blunders like the retro 7)
