Unsticking Clad CoinStar Goo

Please leave your suggestions for unsticking the gooey, stuck together, "I'm not touching that! I don't know where that coins been.", clad and zinc messes we all find but never mention (without too much damage).

Diluted liquid dish soap. Soak for a few days. If zero success, soak in acetone for a few weeks.

Pry apart with a sharp edge.

It depends on the glue. Sometimes just soap and water, or, GooGone, Acetone will usually work for the nastier stuff.

Soaking in acetone and rinsing cleaned them up enough for a return to circulation. Also found a '52 D wheat and two coppers in the mess.
