Well i like silver as many oz as i can get for my money! Last year i picked up about 180 1964 halfs just like new. I paid 20 times face $10 each. Some one i know took 3 rolls a few weeks ago for $14 each. Now he got 120 more for $13,50 each. So he allso got some more silver. Barbers some cleaned old silver. So now i want to replace my oz at a better price.Bingo i got 171 walkers some VERY NICE 21 bens 15 40% and 5 More silver halfs ?? How much? $2.208.00. So what do you think? Would you do that trade? I don't want to be a coin colector!! Just lots of oz

I thinks that's pretty good, I'm guessing you were around 21-1 on the 90% halves
If your keeping it, which you are then I'd say you did pretty good.
I like to get mine for around 18/19-1 but sometimes it's hard to do.

i would do that, i wish i could trade my 1964 kennedy halves for walkers and bens

I think you got a good deal for the value of spot currently. With gold falling below $1,500 and silver hitting below $30.00 I am expecting a major correction for both in the new week or two.
I am expecting Silver @ $25.00 and Gold @ $1,550 before the end of next week. Just a hunch but from the research it appears it is cyclical for this time of year.

Remember that older coins could be worn and weigh less bcs of it. You would have to weigh each to verify you are getting a good trade.

Man if silver hit 25 ill go take 10g's out the bank and buy a buttload brotha.

TZ, do the monster box trade for your 40s, then send the whole box to pcgs for grading, then post pics of your MS70s on your new computer

I think gold will go down to $1550 and silver will go to $26 a oz I might just pay cash for the monster box and sell the 40% when it goes back up to $35

Remember that in 2009 before the bubble burst silver was no even 10$ an oz. Now with obombs raising minimum wage, housing prices rising and unemployment on low we might see silver for less the. 20$. As the economy strengthens precocious metals fall in price.
