Hi everyone! We were asked to show off some of our finds. Here are some cool bit of history we were able to save before the ground locked up. Thanks again to everyone for all your support!

Some of the finds include: 1700's shoe or knee buckle (broken), Ox knob (with horn still inside!), 4 musket balls, broken large crotal bell, skeleton key, some flat buttons, small horse shoe, brass latch and other bits, broken ox shoe, iron rings, toe plate, quartz arrowhead, cheap, swiss watch, pipe stems, 1942 wheat penny, 1892 Indian Head cent, 1838 Large Cent, cut Draped Bust Large cent, and a bent and hole KG copper. The ground it still frozen here in VT, but with the warm weather we are starting to thaw! Not pictured are the pulltabs and other rusty nails.

You say that latch hook is brass? That would look nice on a rustic old piece of barn wood. Keep up the good work!

Happy to see the kids are making some nice finds Jason. What a great program to offer them. A fun, hands on history lesson. :icon_thumright:

Great finds Farmers! Hope the ground thaws out soon! Going to hit a couple old farms this Sat in the middle peninsula in Va, hope to find some cool stuff like that too!

That Key is fabulous! Wow, some incredible finds, definitely some brass there too. Thanks for sharing.

Some great finds! I love that old key. Thank you for sharing.

Good stuff...looks like those kids are learning how to dial in those detectors. Nice mix of time periods too, should have many good years of digging ahead. Good luck!

Nice collection of relics and coins! Congratualtions. :occasion14:
