US Great Seal Button

[codywhite3914]

I found a US Great Seal Button today in New Bern NC. The front appears to be from after 1902 but the back seal is SCOVILL MF'G Co WATERBURY which dates from 1850-1865. Can anybody help identify this button? Did they reuse the back of civil war buttons to use in WW1? Thank you for any help.

Can you post a picture of front and back?

Here is a very good thread about the Great Seal buttons. It's a long one but worth the read.
