US Padlock Date

Dug this out earlier while spot checking some new locations looked through many Images but couldn’t find a match in regards to the font of the American Logo I am looking for the time period of this style lock

I searched Google and found a similar one (Circa WWII) - does yours have any marks on the bottom?

Yes on the bottom is the number 1447

American lock is still in business, maybe they could help. I don't think it is very old and that same style is still made.
