I have some more plates will post them shortly, all my finds are made in Canada around battle sites and/or construction sites the latter are very productive "bulldozers do a great job pilling up earth"............HH..........Bonz

Hi 1320, this plate and many buttons all US were found in an area that went under a subdivision I even took time off work to be around the earth moving that was going on at a very fast pace, got permission on condition that we wore hardhats and steel toed boots "they were "un helpful" but couldn't let the opportunity pass. found a bunch of cannonballs there also along with musket balls.
missed many many relics due to the building and couldn't be there all the time...Bonz

Congrats on finding a very desirable relic and a great piece of history. These fragile hat plates rarely survive in one piece. My banner vote has been submitted
