User Names

[Gary in Pennsylvania]

I haven't changed my Picture in a while as most identify my name with the picture of me.

I've been Gary in Pennsylvania ever since I joined my first forum back in 1999.
No matter WHAT forum I join - I'm Gary in pennsylvania.
It's a pain in the neck though when there is a character limit.....Then I become Gary in Pa.

I've also had the same zany avatar for years and years.


I've gone from one forum to the next and had folks PM me saying "Hey! I know you!" cuz they recognize the avatar & screen ID.

I have noticed that a lot of user names are very nearly the same I think this can cause confusion on posting, and that user names should all be different.

I have noticed there are several user names like mine, and now I have noticed a user name silversearcher, exactally like mine apart from the space ....come on T.Net Mods

Well what did you expect using two of the most common words in user names!

Get yourself a sweet avatar like mine and you won't be mistaken. There's plenty more Iron guys on here but there's only one I patch!
