You need to have a neutral ground balance, sensitivity no higher than 6, discrimination at nickel (if you want gold). You will not find a target deeper than 8" with the Lobo in Disc mode, because in that mode it goes to a factory preset ground balance. It loves deep iron pipes. I found some neat stuff with mine. Take a look!
