TIPS - Not sure if many of you vacation & stay in cabins like I do.

My survival box is out and I'm restocking with "needy" things that may not be in the cabins:

Paper towels
Dish soap
Coffee
Coffee filters
Creamer/Sugar
Salt & Pepper shakers
Coffee Mugs - I don't like those 1 finger coffee cups
Pop Corn
Snacks
Pepto Bismo/Alka Seltzer/Meds

I am so down! I had planned on making this hunt with Burdie and things didn't work out for him . So I had planned on going solo or finding someone to go with me, but now I find out I may be having knee surgery about that time and couldn't walk if I went. Sitting around watching everyone else having fun isn't my cup of tea, so I have had to cancel this year. I will sure miss seeing many of you and it's always fun to meet and enjoy the company of "new" people, many of whom I have shared posts with here on Tnet. There is never a dull monent when those of you I know get together however. Can't wait to get my knee fixed as I have been hobbling around ever since CTH III and been on crutches since July! And I can't wait to see the pictures after the hunt so I can share with you vicarously. Y'all just be careful now you hear? Monty

Had an email from 5 Oaks yesterday.He'll expect us at 9am the morning of the 18th.The distance from Neal's to the ranch is;
Via Leaky/Camp Wood it is 45mi but since it's through the hills it is slower but more scenic.
Via Uvalde it is 55mi but straight and flat.
However,if you are planning on breakfast other than at your cabin,then Camp Wood is the way to go.The ranch is 5mi from Camp Wood.
Camp Wood is the only and nearest for food/gas from the ranch.

The man who will be meeting us there(overseer for absent owners),has studios for his photography and web design.He is the one that developed and handles Neal's website.
