Well I am glad the Chisolm trail hunt is a little way off. I tried to cut my little finger off with a miter saw yesterday. Luckly it was just a flesh wound :icon_thumleft: and did not hit the bone. But I did get 7 stiches across the top of my pinky. :-[

You guys remind me of when I watched a guy sitting on the end of a rafter saw it off in front of him and he hit the deck pretty hard.I don't know how he screamed because I was laughing too hard.Stagecoach if you were sawing a 45 degree, you should have gone the rest of the way.It would have made it easy for you to mark an angle then.Just kiddin' guys,I'm sorry to hear of your injuries.A foot and a finger?Guess I'd better not say just suck it up and go on-- :laughing9:

No, I didn't scream (much) I just picked the saw blade up to see if my finger was still there. (I just felt it tug on the skin).

by the time you feel it on your finger it's too late

You guys be careful .... I DO want to meet you at the CTH !

Reminds me of the time Dan was sawing a low-hanging limb off above our 8' fence. I positioned the truck and tied onto the limb to pull it away from the fence when he got it sawed through. I got in the truck while Dan positioned himself and the chainsaw on the limb. I happened to glance around and saw that Dan was sitting on the limb, beginning to saw, but HIS BACK WAS TO ME!!! He was sitting on the part to be cut off! I honked the truck horn, but he's deaf, especially with the chainsaw going. I got out of the truck and rescued him before he fell 10 feet with the cut off limb. So I know what you're talking about. I tell that story EVERY chance I get! ha! - Noodle

I will have to remember that one and use it .... if you all come to CTHIV ! :laughing7:

Oh, Evy, I have MORE! :laughing7:

I HAVE to participate in a hunt next year.... if I can keep Dan out of the hospital! It's either going to be Uvalde (if there is one) or CTH. Wish me luck! - Noodle
