Hello Everyone,
I have finally got into gear and scanned my finds over the past month..and its been a pretty good one ;D All of these finds were found behind my work,During lunch or a few hours after work, weather permitting.
This old farm field is be converted to a Car Dealership and i couldn't wait for them to tear up the ground.
You seen my friend and co-worker Mike find that little tea cup full of the V-Nickels,The one that is still on the banner :o He also found a flying eagle penny and a 2 cent piece the last couple of weeks.
I could use some help IDing some items....I hope my scan is good enough for you to make out some of the details. :-\
The Indians are 1880 and 1884...the Vs are 1905,1904,1902 and ????
The help i need are on the next items,The Copper Coin looks to be 1599 or 1699 i can make out a couple of letters here and there, but i am not sure what it is.
The Spanish silver coins are in pretty bad shape too...Only one of the three,The larger one has a date of 1761.
There is one other coin that i believe it is a large Cent 17?? i have it soaking in Olive Oil.
The Button with the Anchor and eagle is my Best Button i ever found.
Any info would be appreciated on any of the coins or button.
I am so happy to share some of my finds with you all finally.
The past week Me and Mike has been stuggling...The Rain for Four days hasn't helped things, and the last few times we only found junk. >:(
You will see on one scan some of my other stuff i found...Buttons,Copper Rings,Bullits Etc.
I Enjoy this Hobby Very Much and Reading all of your Topics and Finds.
Happy Hunting and Thanks for all the Information you may have to share with me.

Yeah, British William III Halfpenny 1699.

Spanish silver can't see enough details but the pillars are there so your spot on with Spanish.

Your finds make mine look like a bunch of rocks!

Thanks for all the replies so far guys...I really appreciate the help with that Copper.
