va beach finds today

Just got to the beach and only had a few minutes to MD before it got dark. Found 7 penny's and one dime (woo hoo). I was trying to figure out my sons new ace 250. The jury is still out on this thing I can't even figure out how to adjust the volume. Anybody know how to do this? or is it even possible to turn the volume down? Seems pretty loud to me. I know my son would appriciate the help. By the way I found the clad with my XLT, I can figure out the volume on it

the ace 250 has no vol control.only if you have vol control head phones
i have ace 250 and brother let me tell you its sweet.i found my first gold ring today and alot of coins

It is loud! kind of hard on an eight year olds ears. I'm going to switch headphones with him tomorrow I can adjust my volume on my whites and my fisher. I know there is a lot of people that love the ace including a good friend of mine, but............no volume control, come on garret give me a break.

Man thats great you found gold, I guess I shouldn't be so bitter it just that it was a b-day gift for my son and anybody that has kids knows what I'm talking about....

jc glad you are finding some digs down there....You're right there is no volumer control. I have only used it with the headphones and used the volume control on those. I can see it being pretty loud without the headphones though... Hopefully your son will enjoy it and find as much cool stuff as you

After you get the volume issue worked out, try some of your "hunted out" spots. You may be surprised what that Garrett will find. We found two more cents in my backyard in just about 15 minutes of getting some fresh air.
