Vallon vmh 3cs

Its been a while since i posted on the forum I have just bought a Vallon vmh3cs and i should have it in a couple of weeks . Has any members used one of these and could tell me the way to set it up for using it at the beach .

It is a PI detector with a similar color and miniaturized appearance of a Garrett ATX.
I could not find a user manual, just the below ad sheet. It has "SOS" something I had not heard of...Switch-On-Search. Neat.
