vaquero vs cibola

Hey Sandman, you have nothing to apologize for. Your opinion means more then you realize. Between yours and Badgers recommendations, I went and bought a Tesoro.
What would do all of us Michiganders allot of good, would be for spring to get here.
Come on spring!!! God Bless you Sandman. Lets get out there.

By the way,,,, what happenned to Michigan Badger anyway?

Skip them both and go straight for the Tejon ;D

A little more, but it is a deeper machine than both the V and the C. Personally, I have both a Tejon and a Vaquero. The V is my competition and backup machine, the Tejon is my primary.
i have to agree with this statement, i have vaquero and my friend has a tejon , on very small gold he will find it and the vaquero won't give a beep. we have tried it time and time again... for everthing else the vaquero would be the way to go..........

I Had every intention of buying the Vaquero because of the cost, my wife told me I had better get the one I really want or I would just wind up wishing I had bought it and wind up spending more money (She knows me too well). So I got the Tejon and oh what a machine!!! I took it out into the yard and did some GBing after that was done I looked around and cound't believe all the stuff that it was picking up. I thought I had cleaned up my yard with the Prizm III but it was like I had never detected it, granted I couldn't dig anything because the ground is froze solid, but as soon as the thaw comes oh boy won't it be a show!! ;D

If you can swing it, go for the Tejon, but if not, the Vaquero would be my next choice

Good Luck and HH

I am confused....Is the Vanquero a Chevy truck and the Cibola a Toyota. Or is it the other way around?!? I think my grandpa had a Vanquero and got over 200,000 miles on it so it must be a good truck. I think he lost it in the divorce and now drives either a Viper or an Explorer 2. Everybody seemed to like the explorers but then they had some sort of tire problems with them. :icon_jokercolor:

cibola an entry level detector??? i thought that was the compadre? i use mine primarily for compitition hunts where i can switch frequencies when interference occurs. I can also super tune it by maximizing the threshold to get amazing depths.

While i drove tractor trailer and would go into these US auto factories . I have never seen so little work done for such a large pay day as i have seen in the auto factories......It is a disgrace to the Americian people to pay such a high price for a auto ...........The reason overpaid auto workers................On those jap cars i drive one and love it.......But it was made in the US.......... But my little 12 foot Suzuki speed boat you see here i don't think it was made in the US..but man is it fast...........................==Jim_K==

I am leaning towards getting a cibola myself . How deep will it go in your soils in Texas?

If you are going to use it in mineralized soil or wet salt water sand, dont get the Tejon....
