Got out to one of my fields today, and found some good stuff. An 1854 Large Cent, 1899 Indian, 1900 Indian. 1921 Dog License tag, An advertising strip from Beckwiths Round Oak wood stoves made in 1871, and the Brass topper that would go on the same stove. A clay marble, a clay pipe stem, and a button. Glad the temp was 42 degrees today.

Yes they were. I find quite a few clay items, glass marbles and buttons on the surface as I hunt fields where there used to be an old homestead.
