Very clear date on a cruddy nickle

[worldtalker]

I was surprised the date is so clear, only good target in 3 hours plugging all but iron.

I need new ground.

GOD Bless

Nice V, WT. I like old finding old nickels. I have almost as many pre-Jeffersons as modern Jeffersons this year.

Very nice

Pretty good how the date appears so clear and the rest is worn but that is the tale on those nickels.

Funny how the date is so prominent and the rest isnt.

Neat find!

Sweet coin. What do you mean you need new ground? Looks like it is still giving up goodies. It's just that their are fewer.

I agree with absolutely everything you said!

Awesome V nickel. That one had a lot of detail when it was dropped... you can see the leaves in Liberty's hair too. Wish the ground wasn't so mineralized!

Nice! Congrats!

That's the part you want to be able to read, the date, well done!

I found some places but got shut out by the rain Sunday.

Hope you find a great place to search!
