Wow is all I can say. We had a lot of rain but it was sunny today so I took advantage of it and Im glad I did.
The pottery is another piece of the Cherokee salt pan now I have one for my frame. HH, rock

Basal grinding can be pretty light or subtle at times, and not everyone can pic it up.

Well I really cant tell on the base as far as the difference of thinning, grinding or fluting. I know it was a nice change from finding those tiny points. The instu that gator posted is of the black one and not the one in question. I think and don't really know but the black one might be a Copena but cant swear to it. The other one has a worked edge all the way around just like the sides. I can feel it with my fingers now I don't know which that would be. I do like finding points but honestly don't know exactly what they are I just know they are cool. Thanks for the help, rock

I didn't take the in stu of the other cause it was laying rite on top like somebody had set it there and my hands weren't in the best shape at the time. My phone isn't waterproof I have to keep it in a waterproof bag.

No not a field. Most were in a dry creekbed

Look at you and all those triangle pieces. Man oh man Rock you are sure getting some good items. New area? The finds look to be from one end of the spectrum to the other? Triangle points of that size can be a tough one to type. They show up off and on from the start to the end. The clue may be in the ears and base as they said plus that and the flaking style. You sure are nailing some nice hunts

Its the same area I always hunt just a different section. Its hard to get to so I don't go often.
