Here's an odd ball brass buckle I dug today, it's about 5 inches long, very thin and came from a very old spot. It was found near 1819 large cent and had square nails down the same hole. Any idea what it was used for? It's too thin for anything "functional" like a belt to hold stuff. Check my video post in youtube section to get a better look at it.

Thanks for your help.
