Have been asked to sell off a number of items from an old estate here in Louisiana. Among the many boxes of items i am trying to ID and value for the family, this turned up. Very good condition...Not new ...Any idea on value and time period..
I really need help on this gang!

Its a variation of the roller bit used to pacify a horse still manufactured today...looks like it has a blued finish...have never seen this particular star design...

Suprisingly the lady quoted a price of 200 to 250. Although she does not buy any longer... So I guess it will be Ebay bound.
