Veterans can get a discount on their Verizon cell phone account. Contact Verizon for more info. I get a discount of $25.00 per month. Certainly worth a phone call. If this violates the posting rules please excuse me and just delete it.

using my verterans ( VA )card I get many discounts , and some of them aren't even published that they do this. you just got to ask!

Good post SLnugget! ---- I like knowing where I can get a discount using my VA card. As most know, Lowes and Home Depot offer 10% off to vets and it has saved me quite a lot at those two places. I didn't know about Verizon. Thanks for the heads up!

Texas Roadhouse does as well, amount has varied from place to place from 30% to 10%

I had to renew my Verizon discount eligibility by mailing a copy of my DD214 to their validation center, I just received my discount on my latest bill from Verizon. The $25.00 discount helps and allows part of it to go to MyLandMatters.org as a monthly donation to a very helpful website.
