Anybody see the news about the Viking burial site?? It was found by a guy with a metal detector in NW England.? He found a copper brooch and took it to a museum to report it.? They determined it could only have come from a Viking site and started an excavation, only to discover 6 intact Viking graves complete with spears, swords, jewelry, saddlery, drinking horns, and fire starting equipment.? The graves date to about the 10th Century.
