Nice find. Have you checked its specific gravity? Nephrite is usually 2.95 with a rage of 2.90-3.02.

It seems the area around Marysville/Arlington is a source for many
odd stones. Makes me wonder what the glacial history of the area is.

I have not, yet but will soon. Where I normally collect around Spokane, I have gathered a bit if material that I suspect, but it's quite a bit lighter in color. I'll be testing it all shortly~
