Actually found this nice 41 walker in my front yard. I have pounded the front in the past. And this is the first silver to pop out

I went back to my buddies house for my Sunday morning hunt and got skunked. No silver today just lots of junk. I have been digging all the trash signals because he lost an 18k 3oz bracelet in his field about 10 yrs ago. No sign of it yet

He had all the luck this week finding a 1776 silver commerative medal in glass jar And a 1880's st Benedict medal. I won't post pics of his finds unless someone asks since I didn't find them

But here is my walker

Great find! How do you pick the Eurotek Pro?

Great find! How do you pick the Eurotek Pro?

Couple different things made me go with the pro

One was price range. I was looking to spend around $200. So that put me with the euro. The fisher f2 and the Garrett ace. The reviews on the Garett were very mixed. I then talked to the guys at big boy hobbies and discussed the fishere and the pro. From the reviews and their experience the pro was reliably just a little deepe than the fisher. So I went with it and love my decision. The finds from my buddy I talked about above. Were also found by a euro tek pro that I talked him into getting last week

Nice walker, that's a great 1st silver to pull from one's yard!

Now, I must request that you post your friends medals! Also the jar the 1776 commemorative was found in, if it's an old one.

Thanks guys. Since the day isn't over. I went back for another hunt around the house

Found a 1991 tambala. Which is a 1 cent coin from Malawi. Very strange to find that here for sure

Also dug this up in the front yard. Don't have a caliper so can't give an exact measurement. But close to a 1/2. And weighs 4 grams. Thinking a musketball but seems a little light? Can also see the flat spot where the mold mark was cut. What do you think?
