Received another new permission today, at a 1804 House thats been in same family for over 100 years.
I hunted it for a few hours this morning.
These are the only things I found with about 15 wheats.
They were only a few inches under.
I know there has to be more there, just need some rain.
You would think I should find some buttons, buckle pieces, pottery shards. But nope!
Will see, ill go back after some big rain..
Enjoy the pics.
George

Nice lil handful of the good stuff. Great job!!

For me, there's still nothing like seeing a big silver coming to light.

Nice!

BIG silver !! way to go George !! been a while since I found a half, I'll keep pluggin away

Congrats !! HH

Love me some Walking Liberty! Congratz on what looks like a Great hunt to me!

Twentieth century silver is so sweet! I like the modern look of it, almost like it was minted yesterday. Excluding the Walker, you can look in your pocket and see the same coins that you found. WOW, that's just awesome Vino.

Sooooo... what does a silver Rosie sound like on your Deus?

That kind of silver is always welcome in my hole. I have a couple new permissions at a couple early 19th century houses, but I don't dare dig there this time of year or I may be "one & done". You can't recover deeper targets in a mowed lawn this time of year without damaging the grass. But by the looks of your one dirt shot, it doesn't look like the grass was very "lush".

Well could you knit a blanket for my Deus???? Lol
Thanks Chris.

I want to put in my order for a Etrac blanket ...... avoid the Christmas rush

Thanks Steve,
I agree, I wouldn't try to dig on someone green grass.
This is a property thats up for sale and its all dirt with a few traces of grass here and there.

Great to see these up on TNet George, the walking liberty half is a thing of beauty. Hard to tell age without seeing the back of that button, but any luck with a definitive ID?

Go back after you get some rain. Nice silver there. For some reason the walkers are falling like raindrops on posts lately.
