Waltham I found an abandoned street.

Oops I uploaded the wrong picture, the last picture was from another hunt
.

I like them all, any good stories on any of those finds? Went to the Mass.Treasure Hunting meeting last friday was a good group of people and will be joining before the next meeting. Tips, tricks, and a wealth of knowledge, I'll be mining that resource soon.

Heat has slowed me down a little, weather is going to break soon though. Dropped off some finds to the local Historical Society maybe I can get an in with them. Got a permission lined up in Belmont soon need to sign a waiver for the owner.

Keep Searching, and Happy Hunting Beep

Went up to Stoneham today, at the Fellsways nothing much 1.74 in clad, a couple of spent rifle cartridges, a .22 or .25 fired bullet, bike parts, and a dog collar with tag. Walked within 10 feet of a 6 point buck, we just kind of looked at each other, I tried to get a pic before he took off, but by the time the phone was unlocked, he was walking away.

Godd**m weathermen hasn't rained at all today. Took the AT Pro out and started to learn my new machine. Never did detect my backyard till today pulled 3 and change in clad, a old jacknife, heating valve, Salem Willows token, and some trash. This machine is great Thanks Bart At Big Boys.
Just got mine from Bart for hunts just like this. Your gonna love it. Dont even mess around, go pro mode zero and start at 3 bars from the top. I have the 5x8 coil too. Havent used the stock coil but it will go down 10" inches on a coin size target. Cant wait for your next pictures.

I'm always in pro mode zero 2 bars from the top and disc at 0 or 33 the ground around Watertown is full of Iron, bottle caps, and pulltabs. I do love mine! The heat and humidity up here is the only thing holding me back this month.

Went back to the school yard in Watertown Dateless buffalo giving it an acid bath, 1930P Wheat, button, and 1.47 in clad

I like it, it's a great machine everywhere except in the Ocean. Get the smaller coil, and rechargeable Batteries, a good pin pointer, a digging tool and your set to go. Only my second machine, and there are more experienced operators than me out there. Join a club in your area get their input, or talk with a dealer in your area, they know the strengths and weaknesses of particular machines for your detecting.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting !!

Going tonight to the Mass Treasure - Home meeting and joining ! Liked the last meeting and got some great tips! Hope to see some of you There.

Happy Hunting All !!

What a great group and very helpful with centuries of metal detecting knowledge/experience. I won 1st place in 1900 and later coins (1917P Merc dime), and 2nd place in Relics (Cow/Sleigh Bell) My prizes were a 1917 P Walking Liberty, and a 1938P Washington Quarter. I recommend joining if you're in the area, or a club close to you. http://masstreasure.com/
