Want to buy new for MD For my birthday

I want to buy a new detector for my birthday and something my wife could use as well , I'm looking at the Exterra 50. Would like to buy the 70 but my budget won't allow it . We hunt the beach,90% of the time , dry and wet sand only for her, I have a excal 1000 I get in the water with ,, Weight is an issue ,,,has to be light weight for her,That's why I'm leaning towards the exterra 50. Let me know your thoughts ., GUZZ1

Because od weight and easy of use I would choose a Teasro Vaquero. It is lighter and I think would be easier for her to use. True it won't have a display, but that would get in the way for beach hunting where you are retrieving all targets above iron anyway,

Plus the 3 X 18 inch Clean Sweep Coil is available for it. She can cover more ground in less time to find more targets.
